INOA by L'Oreal
Haircolor for the 21st Century
INOA Banner 150Logics, originally created by Clariol, has been my color line of preference, since it's inception in the mid-1980s. I chose it, because, at the time, it provided the newest technology, along with wonderful artistic control for creating complex hair color formulas for my clients.

As happens, technology and science continue to push advancements in the beauty industry. L'Oreal, the company which invented modern hair color, in 1907, and is behind most of the major hair color advances of the last 100 years, has introduced INOA, the world's first truly non-ammonia color line.

No odor ... optimal scalp comfort ... preservation of hair integrety for longest lasting, shiny and velvet smooth results.

Some day, all haircolor will be like this!
My Schedule
Dates I'm Out of the Salon . . .
DanceSport-USADanceNovember 12-18
February 19
March 4-5
March 10-12
These are the dates that I will not be in the salon, as Diane and I will be away dancing. This is where my wife & I put all our hard work at dance training "onto the floor".
Photographic Services
PSA 80Whether it is for a personal portrait, or wedding day celebration, I am available in the salon, or on location, for assignments. Check-out my web site for plenty of examples of my work.

For the quickest, easiest results, holding the session in the salon is the best choice ... however, working "on location" is sometimes the only possibility, and does offers more artistic potential. Please contact me to discuss your project.
My Website
If you haven't been to my sire recently, check it out, as I have completely reworked the design, to focus on the amazing variety of styles, lengths and colors of today's looks:

Greetings!

November is nearly upon us ... and the Holidays are quickly approaching! Here is the 2nd edition of my eBulletin ... my goal is to produce an issue every month ... so far, so good!

Thanks to everyone for the very supportive comments on my first edition. I'm so pleased it was well received, and will incorporate the suggestions for future topics.

What's happening ...

The "Brazilian Blowout" treatment is off to a wonderful start, and is getting rave reviews. Clients are amazed at how much easier their hair is to style, in the morning ... and how much better is holds up throughout the day. Some have gone as far as telling me that it has "changed their lives."

In my last issue, I mentioned that Emma Watson had cut her hair short, partly for a screen test for "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo". She was not selected, as the part went to Rooney Mara, a relative unknown actress. However, Emma wanted a dramaticallly fresh look anyway... and has been thrilled with the reaction. This month Keira Knightley is in the news with her fresh "Bob" cut.

Enjoy the fall weather,

Bill

Brazilian BlowoutGreat Results!
Lydia had long commented about how much she admired the smooth, polished look I could produce, when blow-drying her hair. She could never get it to look quite as beautiful, doing it herself. Naturally, I suggested we try this new treatment ... as I thought it would be perfect for her.
Needless to say, the results have been terrific. Here are her comments following:

"Thanks you SO much for the amazing hair transformation. It is so great and easy. Esp. at work in the high moisture area :) "

More importantly, after a recent period of rain and high humidity, she was especially impressed with how her hairstyle stood up ... when typically, under those conditions, her hair would have "had a mind of it's own."

"My hair has never been this easy to style!"

So far every client who has tried the Brazillian Blowout, has not only been completely satisfied, but thrilled with the ways it changes the manner in which they think of their hair.

I'll keep you posted on other success stories ... as I'm sure this will become one of my most popular services!
Long Hair Can Be Exciting Also
A great cut can make a statement at any length . . .
Rebecca

It used to be common thinking that only shorter haircuts required to attention of a skilled hairdresser. But a great cut can make hair of any length look special.

The key is to design a style that compliments not only the face and body proprotions, but also the qualities of the hair. Of course, longer cuts require hair that can support the additional length ... hair with more natural body. However, a great cut can bring out the hair's personality, and truly flatter the face.
Chanel Paris Spring Show
Keira Knightley Stole the Show!
Keir KnightleyWhile everyone was supposed to be focusing on the Spring 2011 Chanel collection, recently shown in Paris, actress Keira Knightley was the center of attention with her new haircut.

The actress, who is well known for her varied looks, nonetheless, startled the media with this extremely simple, classic look. Often, the saying "Less is more", is an important quality of more inspired art ... and that principle is no better illustrated, than with Keira's new style.
