Fifth Sunday- Family Sunday This Week!
We want our light to shine throughout our community as we love others, serve others and share the love and beauty of Jesus. In order to do this we are encouraging our Ekklesia families to take every fifth Sunday and spend some special time loving each other and loving their friends.
There will be no Ekklesia gathering this Sunday at the Pavilion. Some of our people will remain in their homes spending quality time with each other. Others will go visit some friends and others will connect with relatives. In the future our house churches will plan their own gatherings together in smaller groups. We will experiment in several new ways to gather together and encourage our fellow believers in Jesus.

Special Family Sunday- Field Trip
Murdock Beach
In order to encourage our families to experience the beauty of God's creation, there will be a special family field trip planned for this Family Sunday. A group will leave the Pavilion parking lot at 9am on Sunday morning and drive up to a remote beach 20 miles west of Port Angeles. Murdock Beach is known for it's abundance of beautiful round rocks and fossils. Everyone is encouraged to bring a picnic lunch. All vehicles will need a "Discovery Pass" in order to park in the DNR parking area. Bring good footgear for the beach (boots) and layers to stay warm and dry.

Bring: lunch, discovery pass, boots, warm clothes

Last Week's Service Sunday
Ekklesia gathered last Sunday for a brief time of sharing, worship, prayer and communion together. We then launched out several groups of workers serve the Helpline Food Bank.
1. Helpline Food Drive:
Ekklesia workers positioned themselves outside the entrances of the Sedgwick Rd. Albatross's requesting food donations. They gathered 386 lbs of donated food in just two hours of service! It is amazing how simple it is to request food for needy people and to receive back an abundance of donations. AWESOME! The photo below shows the Food Bank chairman Ron Weeks and a volunteer receiving the 386 lbs. of food.

2. Firewood project:  A group of Ekklesia workers also loaded two trucks with donated firewood and delivered it to the Food Bank. It was a great day to work and the wood will be certainly appreciated by many who have lost their power.

3. Encouragement Groups: some people visited the elderly and the sick
