January had flown by ... and the 2014 Winter Olympics are starting tonight.!

Unfortunately, I get to see Tiffany only once or twice a year, because of the distance to her home in SF.  But when we do get together, we definitely have fun!

The 80s inspired "rocker shag" that I created for her back in November 2012, was one of my favorite cuts of recent years.  And ... it led to one of my favorite photographs ... and then to a very special cover page for my website.

But Tiffany is not one to remain with the same style for long, and on her subsequent visits she had me go much shorter again.  On her most recent visit to So Cal, I designed a new disconnected, textured A-line which says classical from some angles of view, and "edgy" from others.  It is certainly a Tiffany hair style!  And ... I just had to use this great image on a new website cover page.  more

Jenny ... had been wearing her hair long for sometime, as it was easy to put "up' when convenience was important.  This shorter look does a better job of enhances her eyes, and receives many comments about how younger it makes her looks.

 

Jenny is one of the more advanced dancers at Astoria Ballroom, where we all train. 

 

Maureen ... lives in Portland, and was sent to me by her life long friend, Pam, and her mom, Harriet.  In some respects, Maureen's hair was already a little too short, so creating a customized look will evolve as she develops some additional length.

 

I'm looking forward to spending more time with her ... it will be a fun transition!

 

Midori ... our wonderful dance coach (along with her partner, Alex) is always up for a new "twist" on her style.  Here is her latest with a tighter nick-line, strong bangs, and more texturizing for a tousled look. The color is a reddish over-toned brunette.

 

This is definitely a "modern bob".
