Uniform Return Policy
|
Due to the ever increasing cost of uniforms, equipment, and referees, we have instituted a Uniform Return Policy that applies to all After School Sports participants. We feel that this policy will help us maintain an affordable program for all the students in the Redwood City School District.
|
Team Formation Policy
|
Our
Team Formation Policy
was created because of the difficulty in finding coaches for many of our sports teams.
Each team will have a maximum amount of players allowed to register in order to maximize the experience of the players and allow each player adequate time to compete with accordance to our playing time rules.
Football (22 players)
Volleyball (12 players)
Basketball (12 players)
4th/5th Soccer (16 players)
6th-8th Grade Soccer
(18 players)
Any additional players wishing to register will be placed on a waitlist. If the participant is added to a team, the parent/guardian will be contacted in order to process payment. Players cannot participate until their registration is paid in full. If there are enough participants and we can secure a second coach, a second team will be created.
Please register your child as soon as possible to secure a spot and/or allow us to recruit more players and a head coach to form a second team.

PE+ Receives Award of Excellence
|
The PE+ program is honored to have been selected by the California Park & Recreation Society as an
Award of Excellence recipient for Community Heath and Wellness. The award will be presented at the CPRS State Conference in Long Beach in March 2016.
The PE+ program was designed to help fill the basic need for physical education in local Redwood City schools suffering from budget cuts. This program is delivered through a collaborative partnership between Redwood City Parks & Recreation Department and PCC. During class time, students enter into a community in which they are encouraged to value physical exercise, and to learn at their own pace. Our role is to help students in K-5th grade meet the California Physical Fitness Standards and build healthy school communities. The PE+ program is funded by the Healthy Schools Initiative through the Sequoia Health Care District, Redwood City Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department, and the Redwood City School District.
