Chanukah Play
Our Chanukah Play was spectacular! A very big yasher koach to all our performers.  Thank you so much to Morah Miller for once again producing and directing such an amazing production. There were many staff and volunteers who contributed so much to make the evening so special. They are listed in the back of the playbill attached here.
 
Thank you so much to Mr. Steve Laberge, Vice Principal and Mrs. Cynthia White, Drama teacher of Bishop Grandin for allowing us to use their theatre. They went way beyond the call of duty to make us feel at home and make sure that everything was just right for the event. Thank you to Mrs. Mashiah in spite of a broken mixer for making sufganiyot. 
 
Thank you so much to Peter Booth and Austin Maybaum for filming and taking pictures of the event. The full play video is still being edited and will be available soon. In the meantime please enjoy this video clip of samples of the play produced by Peter.

City Hall Menorah Lighting
Thank you to Chabad Lubavitch for once again giving our students the opportunity to sing at the City Hall Menorah Lighting. Thank you so much to Rabbi Rutstein for preparing the students and leading the choir. The students did an amazing job!  Mother Daughter Israeli Dance
All mothers and daughters are invited to the Israeli Dance After School club on Monday, December 14 at 4:00 pm.  There is no charge for this class. 
Pictures of Chanukiah
We are looking for pictures of families lighting the Chanukiah to send to Uziel, our sister school in Israel the Hebrew school in Vancouver. Please email them to [email protected].
Parsha Class
Our weekly Parsha class continues. We meet every Thursday morning from 8:30-9:00 am in the staff room. All parents are welcome to join us.  The class focuses on parenting lessons from the Parsha.  No prior knowledge or experience necessary.
Chanukiah Making Contest
Thank you to Morah Marina for arranging and leading The Annual Chanukiah Making Contest for Grades 1-6 students. The students got to make and eat yummy and mostly healthy Menorahs.
