KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Kristine Biagiotti, President - Disability Employee Resource Group, EMC Corporation

Central Massachusetts is facing an “Autism Tsunami” that will significantly impact the regional workforce.

As more children are diagnosed with autism (1 in 68), more working parents are under increased emotional and financial stress. It is estimated that more than 3000 families in Central Massachusetts have a family member with Autism, which in turn may have a significant impact on the family and your employee.

HELP EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE CHILDREN WITH AUTISM SUCCEED IN THE WORKPLACE:

The 2nd Annual Autism Summit will address Autism and its impact on families and on your employees, while also providing you with proven ways that employers are supporting their employees to maintain productivity and a good working culture within each company.

LEARN WHAT EMPLOYEES NEED AND WHAT EMPLOYERS CAN DO

You will leave with all the information and resources you need in order to include Autism in your Employee Assistance Program. Going forward, HMEA will continue to be a resource for both you and your employee at no cost.

HMEA invites employers, elected officials, policy-makers and community leaders to attend this summit.
