The Family Promise Basket sold at Unity North Atlanta Church
 Thankful for...........
Dear FPCC Friend,
We have had a slew of guests get into their own housing in the past few weeks.  All in all, since the beginning of October, four FPCC guest families and our first Promise House family have moved out of the rotational shelter and into their own places.  FPCC is grateful for the blessing of guest families succeeding and for the volunteers who make them so happy.  As we prepare to celebrate a holiday designed to be about family, we thought we would dedicate this newsletter to our guests and highlight in their own words what they are thankful for.
Never Felt So Much Love Before....
FPCC graduate N is a mother of three kids. She describes her experience as being surprising, because she had expected to be made to feel guilty for being in this situation.  She expressed that she was so thankful for the chance to be a part of our program and that it was one of the better experiences of her life.  She wanted to say to everyone tied to FPCC " Thank you for all the love, kindness, concern and respect you showed us during our stay.  Mark 12:31 says in part, Love your neighbor as yourself.  We feel LOVED."
Thankful for Extended Family
FPCC graduate R is a mother of two girls.  Two Men and a Truck Marietta/Woodstock sent two employees to help her move into her apartment and it was the first time she had ever had movers.  In her own words " I love how we came into this program broken, lost, sad, confused, and down to nothing, however we left with Joy, Peace, Understanding, A New way and Most of all Love from others without having to give anything in return. We have gained such a wonderful extended family from this program. Thank you all for taking me and my family into your churches, lives, and families.
The best example is in the bible in Romans 15:1 which states, We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. You may never know the true impact that you have Blessed me and my girls with but we will never forget it.   Thank you all for being such a Loving Group of people. "
Being Thankful
We hope you are as moved reading these expressions of thankfulness as we were.  We are beginning our annul funding drive, and many of you will receive our donation letter in the next week.  Please remember us during this holiday season, so that we can continue to inspire families to take our loving hospitality and change their futures.  Easy ways to show your thankfulness for this network is to donate via our website.  Additionally, for those of you doing Black Friday sales,  FPCC could use small appliances- coffee makers, toasters-, irons, sheet sets, USB memory sticks, or towels.  Our upcoming newsletters will focus more on this fund drive and why we need you to help sustain the organization.
