This month our ALTC Member highlight is on Jesse F. Martinez, PharmD, FASCPVice Dean, Academic Diversity & Development at the College of Pharmacy, Western University 
of Health Sciences.

Where did you study?
I studied at University of Southern California, School of Pharmacy
 
How long have you been practicing?
I have been practicing for 38 years. 
 
How long have you been a member of CPhA?
have been a member of CPhA for 38 years.
 
How long have you been on the ALTC Board?
have been a member on the ALTC Board for one year. 
 
Why do you think being a CPhA member is important?
As a pharmacy owner of multiple sites for 30 years and now a college of pharmacy administrator for 8 years, I have experienced an appreciation for a professional society that nurtures the profession and delivers essential services to its membership.

What do you hope to achieve during your term on the ALTC Board?
My term on the Academy of Long-Term Care Board facilitates another opportunity to contribute to my profession an expertise that may impact the CPhA membership in a positive way thru effort in vision, goals, and objectives that provide useful information and innovation --- a way of giving back to the profession precious volunteer time.
