Aiming for Revival in Rifle Colorado
Paul explains in 2 Cor. 5:9 that his ambition is to be pleasing to God. To be clear, he is not speaking about salvation in this text. The word
pleasing can also mean acceptable. It comes from the Greek root word that means "fit together." More than anything else, Paul's eager desire was that his life in Christ would, at all times, fit together with what is acceptable and pleasing to God. The natural drift of man is toward apathy, and apathy precedes apostasy. Thus, it is wise on the part of Christians to reassess and realign our lives to a manner of living that "fits together" with what pleases the Lord.
Revivals are designed for just such a purpose. I have been invited by New Life Fellowship in Rifle, Colorado, to lead their church in revival services beginning Sunday, Nov. 1st through Sunday morning, Nov. 8th. Please join with me in prayer to ask God to fan into flame a revival fire during this consecrated week for God's people in Rifle.
