Dear Fellow Alum,

 

Like me, I am sure you remember the process of deciding which college or university to attend. I'm glad you chose Ship, and now we need your help in reaching students who are looking for a great university-Shippensburg.

You are an important part of the Ship family, and your efforts on behalf of our alma mater can inspire new students to make Ship their choice for the same quality education and wonderful experiences you had here.

 

Our Alumni and Friends program offers the chance to encourage prospective students to join the Ship family by asking them to go to www.ship.edu/admissions/referral and provide their name and contact information. I ask that you reach out to your family members and friends to share with them how Ship helped you in your careers and in your lives. When they complete the form, they will receive their Alumni and Friends Application Fee Waiver.

 

This is a new era for Ship, and we look to you to help us attract undergraduate and graduate students. As an alum, you are Ship's living legacy and embody all the qualities that make this such a special university. To help Ship continue its mission of providing a quality education to outstanding students, I ask that you make an ongoing commitment to serve as an ambassador for the university.

 

Another way to make that commitment is to become a part of the Alumni Admissions Representatives (AAR) program. This program offers many opportunities to volunteer through a range of activities. By sharing your Ship experience with potential students, you can show them that Ship is the place for them. To become part of the AAR program, visit www.ship.edu/admissions/AAR, and let us know how you'd like to help by choosing from the volunteer opportunities.

After the demolition of the old Naugle Hall, many alumni expressed interest in purchasing a BRICK as a cherished memory. Each commemorative brick will be imprinted with "Shippensburg University" and "Naugle Hall". Order forms are available at ship.edu/alumni.
