(aka: "Adult Bar Mitzvah")
Sunday afternoons, November 22 - June 5, 2:00-4:00 pm
If you were never called to the Torah as a bar or bat mitzvah, or if you wish you could go back to Sunday school and learn it all again, have we got a class for you! Every Jewish person automatically becomes bar or bat mitzvah upon turning
thirteen or converting to Judaism. However, not all of us celebrated with a ceremony and a special service. If you would like to commit to a year of study that culminates in a special service with your class, join Rabbi Harris and Zemer Sweenie in this Adult Confirmation class. This is a class for Temple members only, and there is no charge (other than buying your books).
Hebrew text books for the class are available for purchase at the Temple Gift shop, open Wednesday nights from 4:00-6:00 pm and Sunday mornings 10:00 am-12:00 pm." Please purchase your copy before the first class.
Refer to your November Bulletin for more details and watch for next week's What's Nu, too.
