Winners Announced
Our social media contest for Middle School, High School, and University students was a huge success, with a total of 83 participants.  The 118 posts included entries that inspired, amused and on a couple of occasions, confused. Daily winning tweets received Moxie passes with entries like #MagnaCartaOnFleek because I can't get thrown in prison for singing and dancing all of the time @adeline_rae and #MagnaCartaOnFleek because it shaped many country's legacies @Manuel1999. First place winner Joseph Essman actually composed a short essay about his experience and will attend the November SMBA CLE lunch to read his work and receive his award, joined by second place winner Lane Burdette and their civics teacher.  (gallery of entries)
