Hatch Gallery:  Brian Barr "The Native Hue"
I am interested in simultaneously looking at, and looking through, the past, present and future of cultural production. Jan Ver Woert calls for moving from a pantheon of creative geniuses to the pandemonium of endless creative activity and inspiration. A world where the art gods of present and past are slain in favor of an open source mode of cultural production and evolution. I am questioning the notion of cultural ownership of ideas and images. The exhibition will present a complex network of presentation, re-presentation and representation.
