Correction: Current project start and end dates are in 2016 (not 2015)

Last week it was incorrectly reported that the current RFP schedule for a new city website assumed a March 28, 2015 project start date and an end-of-year 2015 launch date for the new website.  This is incorrect.  The current RFP schedule assumes a March 28, 2016 project start date and an end-of-year 2016 launch date. For more information, please contact Ms. Nil Blackburn, Assistant to the City Manager at nblackburn@burlingame.org.

Saturday, October 31 at 1:00 p.m.
Ristorante Rocca, 1205 Broadway, Burlingame

Burlingame Parks & Recreation Department's Community Theatre, Acting Out & About, will chill and thrill lunch-goers at Ristorante Rocca on October 31st with the classic thriller, War of the Worlds. The show will start at 1:00 p.m., right after lunch beginning at 11:30am.

War of the Worlds was originally broadcast on October 30, 1939 with Orson Welles as the young star performer.  However, it was so expertly crafted that radio audiences believed Martians had really invaded and were destroying the United States.  It caused quite a furor and there was widespread panic.

Newcomers Jeff Keleher, Daniel Keohane, Leslie Brush and David Ruettiger join veteran AOA actors Kevin Tully, Jeff Cleary, Linda Milliken, Alida Hinton, and Kiki Arnaudo.  Cathy Foxhoven is the "folley" artist and director.

For more information, please e-mail iambasque@gmail.com or call 650-697-6936. For lunch reservations, please call 650-344-3900. The performance is open to the public but non-lunch guests cannot be guaranteed seating.
