Fall is the perfect time for planting. While many think Spring is the best time to plant, Fall can offer advantages, especially in the South. 

Fall is a great time to plant perennials, bulbs, trees and shrubs. Roots can grow even when soil temperature is as low as 40 degrees. Make sure you allow enough time for roots to get settled in and acclimated before the cold weather sets in.
