Post Vacation Lice Check Policy

Dear Parents,

At Yeshivat Noam, we make a very strong effort to keep our school as lice free as possible.

In order to reach this goal, we need your help. We ask that you please note our NEW policy:

At any time during the school year, if you travel out of the country, before your child/ren may return to school, please have your child/ren checked by a professional lice checker and then rechecked one week later.

We have made arrangements with 3 local lice checkers to check your family at a discounted rate of $30.00 for each girl and $15.00 for each boy for both checks.

Nanci Joszef 201 739 5239
Lea Shteingart 201 837 0164 OR 201 410 1719
L'via Weisinger 201 801 0784 OR 201 906 9547

A letter from the Lice Checker must be sent via email to the Yeshivat Noam Health Office at [email protected]

If your child reports that their head is itchy, or you notice them scratching their head, please take this seriously and have them checked professionally.

If your child is sent home from school with lice, please work with a professional to have the lice and nits removed.

As we approach our Winter Break, please click here to fill out this brief questionnaire so we can make appropriate arrangements for post-vacation lice checks.

Thank you for your partnership.

Thank You

Thank you so much for your  participation in the Bergen County Toy Drive. The donation s of gifts to OHEL Children's Home & Family Services  were fantastic!

The gifts collected made a difference in the lives of foster children, children and adults with developmental disabilities, women and their children living in a Domestic Abuse Shelters and adults with mental illnesses.  These are among the neediest and most vulnerable individuals in society and when they receive a new toy, gift card, or game - it makes them feel very special and just like everyone else.

We are grateful for partners like you, who help to make our gift drive a success.  Your donation allowed each individual who gets services from OHEL to receive a meaningful gift this Chanukah.

The staff and individuals at OHEL greatly appreciate your generosity.

Sincerely,
