Is all parent engagement positive?

 Is our goal to get all parents engaged or productively engaged?

This article describes what they term "helicopter parents" and what we, in Module 2, call "unproductively engaged parents".  These parents may be in communication with you constantly, but that communication may not be very helpful for you or your students!
