Gastro Health Is Getting Back Together With Aetna

Miami based Gastro Health, P.L. and Aetna have agreed to a new contract, effective November 15, 2015, which restores full in-network access to all of our service lines. This new agreement means that Aetna members once again have access to the unparalleled skills and experience that Gastro Health physicians provide in the tri-county area.

"We are pleased to have reached a fair and sustainable agreement with Aetna," said Alejandro Fernandez, Chief Executive Officer of Gastro Health. "We look forward to continuing this relationship for many years to come." Marie Carpenter, Aetna's Vice President of Network Management added.

The new contract comes after a year of negotiations between the two companies. Aetna patients who have been unable to see their preferred gastroenterologist can now rest assured that their next Gastro Health appointment is only a phone call away.
