Jerry McCoy, Gayla McDaniels and Gary Otto spoke to us about the different services that banks provide to clients. First Federal Savings and Loan recently merged with Washington Savings Bank out of Effingham and we discussed the savings due to economies of scale.
The students especially got a kick out of playing with the pneumatic tube at the drive-up window.
Scott Bierman, owner of Pro-Mow Lawn Care, discussed his business. He bought an existing business that he worked in for years. Scott is very organized and transparent with his employees and has recently joined Land Op, a cooperative that shares best practices in his industry.
Thanks to all of the mentors who went through a mini-interview process with the students at the Mentor Match on Wednesday night. 
John Perles of Momentum Builders Inc. shared his Life Momentum Workbook that asks students to create their mission, vision and values for their business as well as their personal life. A wonderful tool!
