CBCF Launches Executive Economic Summit
In November, the CBCF hosted its inaugural Executive Economic Summit, " Mapping Minority Access to Capital," in New York City. The Summit brought together some of the nation's top legislators, investors, financial managers, and entrepreneurs to share their wisdom, experience and solutions to the challenges and pitfalls preventing minority owned business from achieving economic parity.

Become a Global Leader with CBCF
The CBCF is now accepting applications for the Emerging Leaders: US-China Study Delegation. This two-week study abroad experience offers diverse educational activities and excursions in Beijing, Hangzhou and Shanghai. Students are exposed to Chinese history and culture, US-China relations, and Chinese economic development. 

Through this program, the CBCF is working to increase career and study options involving US-China relations. The US-China Study Delegation helps to expand opportunities for African Americans in an era of increasing globalization.

Mark your calendar for the CBCF's 46th Annual Legislative Conference Sept. 14 - 17 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. 

With more than 9,000 attendees, ALC continues to be the leading policy conference on issues impacting African Americans and the global black community. Be among the nation's foremost thought leaders, legislators, and concerned citizens exploring economic development, civil and social justice, public health and education issues from an African-American Perspective.
