This new year brings an updated look and new features for the ADM Board website including:
  • descriptions of services and supports available by ADM Board contract agencies with direct links 
  • information about ADM Board investments in prevention programs and community partnerships
  • increased accessibility across devices
  • live links to ADM Board staff phone and emails
  • an interactive blog

In addition to these new features, the website also contains a news section, events calendar, inspirational stories of hope, and other information about the ADM Board. 

We hope you will explore the new website soon and give us some feedback!


 The Art of Recovery, a Celebration of Creative Spirit





Community Support Services invites you to The Art of Recovery, an evening of inspirational art, music and fellowship. The event will showcase the artistic works of people in recovery and p roceeds from the event will support the Community Support Services' Expressive Arts Program.
 
It will take place on Thursday, March 10th from 5:30pm - 9:00pm at Greystone Hall in downtown Akron. Additional information and the online registration may be found here.

ADM Board Communications and Outreach Coordinator

Lucky Tisch, Communications and    Community Outreach Coordinator
 

The ADM Board welcomed Lucky Tisch earlier this month as she began her work as the Communications and Community Outreach Coordinator.  In this new role, she will provide assistance with internal and external communications, community outreach, and special events.

Lucky graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in Communication / Public Relations. She brings over 10 years of experience in local government organizations in administrative and public relations positions. Read more...





Drug Facts Awareness Week



is an annual, week-long observance that brings together teens and knowledgeable adults to counteract the myths about drugs and alcohol. Starting on January 25th and running through January 31st, a variety of events and interactive online activities will help foster honest conversations about how drugs affect the brain, body and behavior.
 
How can you participate? Check out the ADM Board social media channels each day during the week to access information to help you have those conversations with the young people in your life.
