Dear friends and valued clients,

We hope you are well and enjoying the festive period.  Before you go off to celebrate Christmas and the New Year (although we are sure some of you are already celebrating), we would like to share some highlights from our year at Ganache Macaron.

The year began with the creation of our very first macaron-covered Eiffel Tower.  Standing at one meter tall, this statement wedding cake thrilled the lovely couple whom we made it for, and acted as a special symbol of their relationship, as they actually got engaged at the top of the Eiffel Tower.  From there, we went on the create some of our most beautiful macaron towers throughout the year, including some covered completely in Personalised Macarons .


In fact, many of the macarons we created in 2015 were Personalised Macarons.  Topped with photos or messages, these made for sweet birthday and anniversary gifts.  One of our clients even proposed with Personalised Macarons, spelling out 'WILL YOU MARRY ME?' on individual macarons...who could say no?

Our corporate clients also indulged in their fair share of Personalised Macarons in 2015.  From promotional gifts to trade shows and corporate events; we worked closely with each client to ensure our macarons were made to suit their brand and overall vision.  See some of the brands we worked with in 2015 below.


Spring was a busy time for us. Audrey made her television debut on Sky TV's A Different Kind of Woman, teaching co-host siblings to bake macarons for their 'Sibling Rivalry' episode.  In the same month, Paul was interviewed for TF1 News France, whom he spoke to about starting a business in the UK.  Then, in mid-May we exhibited at the Caffe Culture Show where we met many interesting and inspiring people working in the cafe, restaurant and hotel sectors.

By the time Summer came around, we were fully immersed in the wedding season; holding weekly wedding tastings at our East London bakery and creating countless macaron favour boxes for brides and grooms-to-be. 

Our head chefs also hosted over 50 macaron baking classes throughout 2015, adding to our extensive list of alumni.  Whilst many of our students were based locally, we also taught students from all over the globe including Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Nigeria and the UAE.
Our most exciting news for 2015 came this Autumn when the newest member of the Ganache Macaron team came into this world.  Head chefs Audrey and Paul had their first child, a lovely baby boy whom they named Arthur (see photo above). 

We are looking forward to an exciting year ahead and we hope that you all will be part of it.
