Cancer Treatment Centers of America Appoints New Vice President of Clinical Analytics

Dr. Robert Hauser will introduce new modes of collecting, analyzing and sharing clinical data with
patients and physicians
              
Boca Raton based Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) recently announced the appointment of Dr. Robert (Rob) Hauser as the new VP of Clinical Analytics at CTCA® Medicine & Science effective 12.1.15. Dr. Hauser will work closely with the executive leadership teams of Medicine & Science, Information Services and the regional medical centers on the company's further development and implementation of an enterprise-wide clinical analytics strategy and program.

Miami based Gastro Health recently announced that Dr. Susan Kais, MD has joined the medical group. Dr. Kais graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine. She completed her Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship at Scripps Green Clinic and Hospital in La Jolla, California. Shortly after, she completed an Advanced Inflammatory Bowel Disease fellowship at the University of Miami School Of Medicine. Dr. Kais is an expert in her field and treats numerous general gastrointestinal conditions, but has specialized training and great interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis).
Broward Health to Expand Cerner Services with Population Health Management

Broward Health, a nationally recognized health system, has announced it has selected Cerner, a global leader in health care technology, to implement population health management solutions. Cerner, the health system's electronic health record (EHR) supplier, will implement HealtheIntent, a system-agnostic, near real-time population health management platform designed to accept and normalize data from disparate sources.
 
Broward Health care providers will have a more comprehensive view of their patient population, including EHR, claims, pharmacy, lab data and more, which will enable them to make more informed care decisions. Broward Health will expand its patient engagement options and implement HealtheLife: Engagement.
