Join Mrs. Tammie Rapps, Head of School, tomorrow morning (Wednesday) at 8:15AM on the boardroom.  The topic is on
Assessment.
YOU "CAN" DO IT! WE NEED YOU!

We need you to bring more cans of food for our school to build a CANukia.  Tomorrow, Wednesday, we NEED you to help us BUILD our school CANukia.  We know you CAN!  We hope you will!  At 8 AM, join us for our CAN do attitude and building in Pollman Hall.
 BLUENOTE AND TARDY UPDATE
  • Blue Note ([email protected]) communicates with the school when your child is absent, arriving late, or leaving early.
  • Blue Note does not excuse a tardy (other than for a Bris, Bnei Mitzvah, or other life cycle event).
  • Please ensure that your child brings a doctor note, if that is the reason they are late or leaving early.
  • When sending a Blue Note, please put your child's official name and grade so that the Blue Note will get to the correct teacher in a timely manner.
  • Students are picked up in the main admin building for these purposes.
The Parent Handbook states:
  • Students are expected to be at school by 7:50 A.M. (5th-8th grade Prayers (tefillah) begin at 8:00 A.M. daily).
  • Students arriving after 8:00 will be marked tardy.
  • Grade 1-5 students will begin their days with a short assembly from 8:00 - 8:15.
  • Davening will begin immediately after the assembly.
  • Students who have accumulated nine (9) tardies (in Middle School, tardies are recorded for every class period) will be required to attend a "Sunday School" session at Akiba. An administrator will contact parents once a student has acquired seven (7) tardies.
GROUP SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHS

Your child's class photographs will be sent home by Friday.  This photo was gifted to us by the photograph company.  Please check your child's backpack to ensure the photo arrives home.
