How's The Weather Up There?
Owasippe now has a unique facility that most Scout camps in the U.S. cannot boast of, an official registered weather station broadcasting important local weather data with photos.

President's Perspective
In July, I visited Owasippe and attended a Wolverine closing campfire. I had not been to a Wolverine campfire since I was a CIT many years ago. I enjoyed going to the campfire. I noticed that the staff dismissed the troops differently than the last time I was there. I enjoyed the new traditions and how the staff was taking ownership.

Scouts For Equality
I first fell in love with Owasippe in 2003 when I stayed at Blackhawk during periods 5 & 6. This was my first time staying at camp for two weeks. I made some great friends in my Troop, earned the Eagle-required merit badges of Environmental Science & Lifesaving, and spent untold hours down at the lakefront and the Eagle's Nest swimming in Big Blue Lake. ..........
