WORKSHOP & COURSE INFORMATION
Safe Spaces Highlights & Library Update!
This past week we concluded our four-part Safe Spaces Anti-Bullying Program. This program, running for 13 hours, was hugely successful and all of our participants came away with a greater understanding and appreciation of preventative bullying measures.

For those of you who were unable to take the course, or did take the course and wish to share these methods with your students, we have a wonderful announcement to make.

Coming soon to our CCRR Lending Library, a special collection of anti-bullying and anti-bias books that support the Safe Spaces training and practice.

Some of the books that will be added are:
  • Every Buddy  Counts
  • Feet Are Not For Kicking
  • Hands Are Not For Hitting
  • It's Okay to Be Different
  • Share and Take Turns
  • The Peace Book
  • The Skin You Live In
  • Not Fair, Won't Share
...And many more!

Success
Ralph Waldo Emerson

To laugh often and much,

To win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children,
To earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends,

To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others,
To leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child,
a garden patch or a redeemed social condition,

To know even one life has breathed easier
because you have lived.

This is to have succeeded.

If I like it, it's mine
If it's in my hand, it's mine
If I can take if from you, it's mine
If I think it's mine, it's mine
If I had it a little while ago, it's mine
If it's mine, it may never appear to be yours in any way
If I'm building something, all of the pieces are mine
If it looks just like mine, it's mine
If you have something and you put it down, it automatically becomes mine
Even if I don't want it, it's still mine; therefore, it can never be yours
However, if it's broken, it's yours.........
no wait, it's mine!

"Here is a recipe I got from my sister in Israel when I was much, much younger.
It is easy, fast, delicious and  nutritious .
Enjoy!"
