Patient Quotes:

"You have helped me so far just knowing there is help. It takes off stress knowing there is a chance to see a doctor. Thanks so much."
  ~Latricia J.

"AccessHealth has helped me with doctor's care for my diabetes, hypertension, my smoking habits, and a general
outlook on what a value physicians care can be. I have an
assortment of physical problems and it seems that it's not
over yet and I'm sure that my needs will be taken care of."
 ~Ceasar B.

2015 Report to the Community

The Fresh Food Project

AccessHealth Spartanburg has partnered with the Hub City Farmers Market (HCFM) to plant a community raised garden bed at AHS and begin a fresh food education program for our clients. Spartanburg County has several food deserts in the community, limiting our clients' access to fresh food. Our aim is to reduce and rid the community of food deserts by working together to fight food disparities. The program focuses on educating clients on access to fresh food and how to make the most of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) at HCFM. Many of our clients are on SNAP and AccessHealth would like to link them to existing community resources that allow them to purchase fresh food at an affordable price.

A Special Thanks: We would like to thank the Hub City Farmers' Market for partnering with us and assisting us with the garden design, planting, and high quality plants and soil. This community garden was made possible through this partnership.
