The "V" Channel is Producing Student Films
That Inspire 'Goodness'
The New Year is off to a great start at The "V" Channel. Our latest initiative, the 'Goodness' Project, was conceived during a call with The Hollywood "V" Crew, our friends in the movie industry. The project's mission is to help film, media and drama students develop their craft while producing positive and meaningful content based on virtues.
Virtues Are Humanity's Inherent Goodness
Common to people of all cultures, ethnicities and beliefs, understanding the what, why and how of virtues empowers young people to:
> Achieve their personal goals
> Experience more harmonious relationships at school and at home
>
Choose peace over violence
> Rise above the negative influence of peer pressure
>
Fully reveal their originality, creativity and excellence
> Have a positive effect in school, community and society
Project Overview
The "V" Channel's management team is contacting schools with top-tier film, media and drama departments, inviting teachers and facilitators to submit their most talented students' work for review and consideration by the Hollywood "V" Crew.
Issues+Decision+Virtues=Goodness
The objective of the project is to encourage students to explore personal issues, life decisions and virtues, and to develop scripts that, "Inspire youth to overcome adversity and rise above the negative influences in today's complex world, or to simply reveal their inherent goodness."
Lights... Camera... "V" Videos!
Selected students will receive our proprietary production brief and a budget to make "V" Videos---short films that bring virtues to life.

School screenings, reviews and classroom discussions of "V" Videos offer youth-to-youth forums that give students a relevant way to focus attention on what is 'good' in an often hostile and competitive world.

In addition to featuring student videos on The "V" Channel's website, YouTube channel, and social networking services, we will partner with a top digital marketing and PR agency to build awareness of the 'Goodness' Project and oversee the dissemination of videos to popular social media networks, streaming content providers, and local & national media outlets.
"V" Video Examples:
"I'm not good at waiting"
"The kid was dead"
"Instead of tweets listen to real birds" Reverence, 2:44 >

Message From the Founder
Scott Feraco
During the early years most children learn basic virtues such as 'generosity' to share, 'friendliness' to be nice and play together, and 'obedience' to follow instructions. As kids get older, those early lessons are often diluted or countered by external influences such as the media, peer pressure, or family issues. Most parents and teachers are hard pressed for time to reinforce foundational virtues, yet virtues are exactly what young people need when dealing with complicated personal issues and difficult decisions. The 'Goodness' Project fills the need by modeling positive behavior through creative and entertaining "V" Videos, to help teens learn how to make responsible and ethical choices.

We aim to build an extensive catalog of "V" Videos, providing parents, teachers and coaches--- anybody who cares about kids
--- with an online resource to share powerful, engaging and uplifting messaging with today's youth.

The 'Goodness' Project is a very ambitious initiative. We are seeking relationships and guidance from influential leaders interested in supporting a tax-deductible cause:
> Movie & Television Executives and Celebrities
> Corporate Sponsorship Directors
> Executive Directors of Charitable Foundations
> Wealthy Individuals and Philanthropists
If you are in a position to help us launch the 'Goodness' Project, please email me at   [email protected] or call/text me at 917.445.0102. I would love to share our vision in further detail and discuss your involvement.

Perhaps you know someone who may be interested in supporting or contributing to the 'Goodness' Project, if so, please forward this email.

With sincere appreciation,

Scott Feraco
