Shop Small Saturday (Revisited)

Twenty-eight shoppers from the Chamber Ambassadors, board members and staff took to the streets on Saturday, December 19th, spreading their appreciation to our local small business members (and hopefully helped make up for the "iced out" Shop Small Saturday earlier in December). Armed with a couple H-Bucks each, they spread more than $4,000 in Christmas cheer to local small businesses. Thirty or more small Chamber member businesses were shopped in the Hutchinson area, including several small business members in the county.

Thanks to local small business owner and Chamber member Joe Young, of Scuttlebutts Coffee, for providing the inspiration to what became a fun Flash Mob shopping spree! A huge thank you to all the shoppers willing to share the stores they shopped and the dollars they spent way above and beyond the H-Bucks they had with them!
Have an exciting milestone to celebrate, fundraiser or event coming up in the community? Send it to Patti at [email protected] for inclusion in the Chamber Outlook. Listings are limited to one listing per Chamber member per quarter and must be under 100 words.
