Ekklesia Youth Christmas Party was Awesome!
The Ekklesia Youth Group and the POCOC Youth Group had a great time last week at the home of the Parrys. They played several games together and enjoyed lots of munchies. We look forward to many more joint events with the Port Orchard church group.

It was a wonderful gathering lifting up Jesus as a gift to the world and our reigning Lord!
Jesus is Born- Celebration
Last Sunday the Ekklesia church gathered to celebrate the birth of Jesus by eating together, enjoying a children's play and worship him in song. We were so blessed by Katy Stefanoff and her work with our children as they presented a play about Jesus and his birth. It was a special morning of family worship and sharing our blessings. We look forward to a new year of service, opportunities to share Jesus and many new people in our family. Ekklesia Church is alive and growing!

Feeding Thousands and Giving Toys
Ekklesia volunteers young and old volunteered this week to help the Helpline Food Bank pass out hundreds of turkey dinners to over a thousand Port Orchard families. Many of these parents also lined up to receive gifts for their children. Ekklesia workers picked up over eight pallets full of toys from two locations on Saturday prior to the Food Bank food and presents distribution. On Friday evening James Goodman received a call that $10,000 worth of toys had failed to be picked up at a building in Federal Way that were supposed to be donated to needy families. Well, Ekklesia workers kicked into gear on Saturday and picked up 4 pallets worth of boxed toys and delivered them to the National Guard Armory in Port Orchard for distribution on Monday and Tuesday. That same afternoon James also found out that over ten pallets of boxed toys were left over from the Toys For Tots distribution at the Kitsap Fair Grounds. So, again that same crew of Ekklesia volunteers quickly picked up another four pallets worth of toys and also delivered them to the armory for the Monday and Tuesday give away to needy families. Wow! What a blessing to be used so strategically to help the needy in Port Orchard. It was a blessing to just be used by God in this way.
