Student-run WASH Symposium, March 1-2, 2016 


The student-run WASH Symposium will return for its fifth year on March 1-2, 2016 at the Sustainability, Energy & Environmental Complex on the CU Boulder campus.

A Dialogue with Ambassador Chris Hill
January 27, 2016; 6:00 to 8:00pm

Ambassador Christopher Hill, Dean of the University of Denver's Josef Korbel School of International Studies ,   will speak at the
Posner Center  on January 27th to dialogue with guests about students and international field work, Korbel's academic programs and his experiences working in developing countries. In addition to overseeing the Josef Korbel School, Ambassador Hill is author of the book Outpost: Life on the Frontlines of American Diplomacy: A Memoir , a monthly columnist for Project Syndicate , and a highly sought public speaker and voice in the media on international affairs. Ambassador Hill is a former career diplomat, a four-time ambassador, nominated by three presidents, whose last post was as Ambassador to Iraq.

This event is free and open to the public but you must register.

The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSTHM) are seeking to appoint a dynamic Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for the SHARE research Consortium programme. SHARE aims to generate knowledge to improve systems for sanitation and hygiene delivery. SHARE will directly contribute to accelerated and equitable progress on sanitation.

2016-17 Fellowship at Stanford University

  The Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC) at Stanford University offers annual fellowships to predoctoral students, postdoctoral scholars, and junior faculty members who are researching topics related to science and international security that contain elements of policy-relevance.

Red Cross/Red Crescent Climate Center Internships


Application deadline: Feb. 1, 2016

CU-Boulder has partnered with the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre (RCRCCC) to place graduate students in locations in eastern and southern Africa each summer. 

This collaborative program targets improvements in environmental communication and adaptation decision-making as well as disaster prevention and preparedness in the humanitarian sector.
