In conjunction with the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) and Canada's Technology Triangle Inc., we are pleased to invite you to a showcase event on the innovation ecosystem of Brainport Eindhoven Region, the Netherlands - which Forbes calls " hands-down the most inventive city in the world".
The region is known for excellence in high tech systems, automotive, food, manufacturing and medical technology underlined by a globally recognized design competence. Over the past 2 years, Brainport and Waterloo Region have worked on soft-landing, investment, 2-way trade and talent exchange strategies leading to tangible results. The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and Europe (CETA) has been approved by the European Commission and will soon be subject to a vote in the European Union. CETA will benefit Dutch - Canadian relations enormously. It means that you will have direct, unencumbered access to the €14 trillion European Union free trade market.
