Namaste, Big Teddy Bear
I am told the popular Indian greeting, "Namste,"maxiclaw means, the God in me bows to the God in you. It's a way to acknowledge that within each of us there is a spark of the divine and to bring it out through appreciation.

Last night I was musing at the dinner table about the challenge of doing bigger and bigger things in life, with the same amount of time.

My 17 yr old son, Gabe, told me to think of the Claw at the carnival, a machine that offers the opportunity to pick up bigger and bigger stuffed animals and prizes all for the same payment. You just have to go for something bigger.  "Eventually," he said, "you go for the Big Teddy Bear."

The God in me bows to the God in the Big Teddy Bear.

As 2016 opens, may you have your eye on your Big Teddy Bear. The world needs more people going for the Big Teddy Bear.

As our first full week of the year kicks off, let me be one of the first to say to you, Namaste.

How glorious a greeting the sun gives the mountains.
