Expanding our footprint
We're thrilled to partner with the Georgia Department of Transporta tion to spread the knowledge and enthusiasm needed to increase the safety of people who walk throughout all of Georgia.

Activities we'll lead include
  • Annual Walking Summits
  • Workshops in each of the state's seven districts
  • Georgia Pedestrian Safety Action Plan
  • Pilot project inventorying intersections on wide, busy roads and prioritizing safety improvements  
Thanks to your generous support, our activities in the Atlanta region will remain as strong as ever.  

You can count on us to to continue partnering with government officials, community organizations and others to promote safe sidewalks and crosswalks on busy streets here.   
Job opportunity: Pedestrian Safety Program Manager
We're seeking a Program Manager with excellent attention to detail who is experienced with planning and implementing workshops, developing reports and recruiting and collaborating with external partners.

The program manager will be responsible for planning and implementing local, regional and state workshops, developing safety action plans and for launching and implementing our new Safer Streets, Safer People initiative.
