ISEA 2015 Executive Summit HighlightsES

 

The ISEA 2015 Executive Summit held May 3-5, at the JW Marriott Resort in San Antonio, Texas, was the association's 82nd annual meeting. Members heard from supply-chain consultants about the state of distribution; an update on the association's additional training opportunities from QSSP's Course Director; and short- and long-term economist forecasts to increase profitability from one of the country's most informed economist.

ISEA Offers Spanish Version of Popular Fall Protection Use, Selection GuideESP

 

ISEA has released a Spanish version of the association's popular Personal Fall Protection Equipment Use and Selection Guide. The guide provides practical, hands-on guidance for fall protection users and administrators in their selection, use, maintenance and inspection of fall protection equipment.  The guide will help protect workers whose jobs expose them to fall hazards.

According to a press release from OSHA, there have been "40 serious injuries [at Lloyd Industries] since 2000. These injuries include serious lacerations as well as crushed, fractured, dislocated and amputated fingers."
