Scouting for Food Donation Pickup
Saturday, November 7

This Saturday, Wayland boy scouts and cub scouts will join 3 million scouts from across the US in collecting food for those in need. Please place food donation outside of your front door before 9amBags will be picked up between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.

The Wayland Garden Club invites you to their November Meeting and Luncheon:  Fabulous Arrangements for the Fall and Winter Holidays. The presenter for the November meeting is Tony Todesco, the founder and owner of Stow Florist. He is a well-known floral designer and will demonstrate creative holiday arrangements for your holiday decorating. This meeting will offer a respite from the holiday busyness and help open your mind and spirit to the world of plants and flowers. Throughout the year our programs offer opportunities to learn about conservation, horticulture, and the artistic use of plant materials both in the home and garden. Kids Night Out

Isn’t it time for a Kids Night Out? (Okay it’s really Parents Night Out too!) Kids will be supervised by the Wayland High School Varsity Boys Lacrosse Team. The fun will include: organized games, dinner, crafts, board games, movies. Cost: $25-first child, $10 each additional child, and includes a slice of pizza and a drink. A concession stand will be available for additional snacks. Kids can bank money to use at the concession stand. Please bring cash/check to drop-off. Ice Hockey for Wayland Boys & Girls

Youth Programs

The Wayland Hockey Association (WHA) wants to spread the word about great opportunities for Wayland boys and girls to try the great game of ice hockey in a fun, low-pressure, low-commitment environment. The Chris Herren Story

For middle school, high school, and college-aged students and their parents/guardians. Free and open to the public. Former NBA basketball player Chris Herren, motivational speaker, author and sobriety advocate, shares his inspirational story of the struggle and recovery from substance abuse with a message of hope, and that it is never too late to start a new chapter in your life.

Donate a Bike Fundraiser

Please register for this fundraiser no later than November 22 by sending an email to [email protected] with the number of bikes you are giving, your address, and confirmation of your total donation based on $30-plus per bike. Checks should be made payable to Wayland High School Boosters, indicating WHS Boys Lacrosse in the memo line of the check.  Please have the bikes in your yard on December 5 with your check in an envelope taped to one of the bikes. The Lacrosse Team will pick up the bikes throughout the day on December 5, starting at 8am. Thank you from the Wayland High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team.
