Join us for a Contemporary Fusion Choreography. In this session, we will continue working on expression and finding our individual dance voice. We will also be focusing on fluidity and transitions. Co-ed and Mix Level

Followed by Drop-in Tribal Fusion Technique 8:40pm
This drop-in  class will focus on learning the foundation moves used in belly dance and how to alter them to create the tribal aesthetic. This class is designed for beginners as well as those with some belly dance experience. Each session will focus on a new topic or set of movements, improving dance posture, technique, and layering

NEW! 6-week Choreography Collaboration w/Prop starts Wednesday 9/30 @ 6:30pm w/Fatin

In this 6-week course, participants will learn the fundamentals of building a choreography from the ground up, focusing on musicality, timing, and musical interpretation! The class will prepare a choreography as a group which will be performed at the AFBD's Got Talent Showcase in December as well as other events throughout the Fall and Winter!The choreography will incorporate FAN VEILS! Fan veils will be available to purchase or borrow at the studio.

This class will feature advanced technique rooted in Modern Egyptian and 70's American cabaret style that are Aziza Nawal's specialties. Improve your technique with drills, challenging combinations plus become more familiar with the music of the Middle East.
