CALL FOR APPAREL AND ACCESSORY DESIGNERS
The deadline for applications to be considered for New Mexico Fashion Week 2016 is November 14. This unique fashion extravaganza, which is in its third year, will be held April 13-17, 2016 in Albuquerque. All styles are welcome, from Southwest to Native American, casual to formal, hats to furs.
New Mexico Fashion Week is the premier fashion event of New Mexico, recognized across the country and worldwide for its diversity of styles and sizes. Previous shows have highlighted childrens wear to plus sizes, western wear to latex & leather. Now is your chance to join us by adding your unique style to our lineup.
New Mexico Fashion Week is hosted by the Albuquerque Apparel Center, its parent company. Albuquerque Apparel Center represents 25 years in the fashion industry. It is organized and managed by industry professionals with degrees in-field, from fashion design to merchandising, promotions, public relations, and academia. AAC also hosts NMFashionInfo.com, a directory catered specifically to New Mexico. NMFW and AAC provide an arena in which creative talents and the entrepreneurial spirits of New Mexico fashion industry individuals and businesses can flourish.
In 2016, New Mexico Fashion Week is growing, and will include the following:
1. An expanded Fashion Expo at which consumers can meet and buy from designers and local retailers.
2. Fashion Conference at which participants meet and learn from the best in industry about merchandising, marketing and social media, and much more!
3. Two nights of runway shows (Friday 15th and Saturday 16th) featuring the best designers throughout New Mexico and the country.
