Share Our Simchas - Sponsor an Oneg!

A special Oneg will be held this Friday in honor of Cantor Sobel chanting Torah for us.  "Todah Rabbah!" to Moses and Jane Alexander for sponsoring the oneg in honor of Cantor Sobel's chanting Torah this week.

A wonderful way of celebrating special happy occasions (simchas), such as birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, the birth of a child or grandchild, is by sharing your joy (nachas) with the entire congregation and sponsoring the Oneg Shabbat for the Friday
of your special week.  We'll arrange for the food and set-up, all you do is send a minimum donation of $125.  If you would like to sponsor an Oneg, please call or email the TBC office (203 544-8695 / [email protected]) and we'll pencil in your special Shabbat.  In the words of the traditional Yiddish wish for birthdays, May you live to be 120 (the age achieved by Moses, and therefore considered to be the ideal lifespan). L'Chaim!
Our Crowd: Movie and Deli Night at TBC
Saturday, January 16th, 6:30 - 9:30 pm

Join us for a fun evening  with friends at TBC  (50 and over). We will have an old fashioned dinner of Jewish deli food. Afterwards we will  show the movie 'Above and Beyond', a gripping movie about a group of Jewish American war pilots who smuggle planes out of the U.S. and fly for Israel in it's War of Independence.  Please RSVP to Ria Miller at [email protected] .   Cost $18 per person.
Donate Today To The Limud Fund!

As this calendar year comes to a close, please consider making a year-end, tax deductible contribution to the new TBC LIMUD FUND.  All donations will be used to support the education of our children. Help us continue to celebrate the light that exists in every child and donate today!  http://bit.ly/Limud

Social Action Volunteers Needed!
