MUST-SEE FILM ON SENIOR GAMBLING

 
The New York Council on Problem Gambling is bringing awareness to the issue of senior gambling with a short film called Empty Spaces. The short drama, created by Emmy Award-Winning OutreachArts, takes a hard look at the issue of seniors suffering from gambling addiction and the impact it has on their family and friends.
FOCUS: FANTASY SPORTS
Fantasy sports, particularly daily fantasy sports, have been in the spotlight this fall. We've devoted a special page on our website that brings the issue of daily fantasy sports into greater focus.
"PROFESSIONALS" BROCHURE IN THE WORKS
  
Northstar is in the process of producing an informational brochure for psychologists, social workers, healthcare workers, addiction counselors, nurses and other professionals in a position to identify people with gambling concerns to help them understand problem gambling. Once completed, we will post this brochure on NorthstarProblemGambling.org and make it available in print format.
