Member Organization Activities
Through mini-grant funds awarded to The Huntridge Teen Clinic and Future Smiles, aimed at increasing utilization of EPSDT services, over 900 teens were screened and treated for dental services and 2,085 children's teeth were sealed!  Read more about impact through our Mini-Grantees in our 2013-2014 Mini-Grant Report.

The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, operated by Nevada Health Centers, provides access to oral health care for children in Northern Rural Nevada, where care is often times limited. Care Mobile is fully staffed and provides a large range of services including restorative and preventive care, exams, cleanings, sealants, extractions, x-rays and more!

Think outside the box! For example, the Southern Nevada Immunization and Health Coalition (SNIHC) incorporated dental screenings and treatment into many of their nearly 100 community immunization events in 2013, screening over 600 children for dental care needs and provided follow-up treatment for the identified at-risk. At SNIHC's events, dental screenings and treatment were provided by UNLV School of Dental Medicine and Future Smiles
