OVERCOMERS Celebration: A special time of sharing

"Take heart, for I have overcome the world."

                                           John 16:33

As we celebrate 15 years of ministry we are so proud of our many, nearly 100, graduates of our sponsorship program who have begun successful careers in business, education, medical, ministry and service fields as well as numerous trades such as mechanics, welding, sewing and cooking. We also have many children and youth continuing to thrive through sponsorship who we hope to add to this list of "Overcomers" as they graduate and go out to make a difference in their churches, communities and country. Most exciting and fulfilling to us, is the spiritual impact we are making on these young ones and we rejoice in the long-term influence this will have on their lives and those they touch for years to come. We thank all of you who support this ministry faithfully, who have made these stories possible and dramatically changed the course of these children's lives to the glory of God. Ultimately, we give God all the praise!

We were happy to bring Pastor Charles and Judith Magale to share in the celebration activities in Baltimore, Denver, Montrose, CO and Beleville, IL. They have inspiring testimonies as well and work hard with us to serve their community for Christ. Their 4-year-old daughter, Rebekah, stole the show at all of the events as she shared her sweet vocal talent, with a little help from mom. See her on our hineskids facebook page and website. Thank you to all of you who joined us and welcome to our many new friends and supporters. We hope you will all be blessed as you see God's continued work in Kamonkoli through Hines Ugandan Ministries. A huge thanks to all those who volunteered or financially sponsored these events to make them such a success.

Lovista: Story of an Overcomer
Lovista lost her father to the AIDS virus when she was two years old. Her mother is also infected and abandoned her shortly after her father died. Living with her grandmother was difficult and Lovista suffered much abuse and neglect, treated like a servant and missing out on educational opportunities. Sponsorship made all the difference for Lovista, affording her an education, a better living situation, love and support.

Lovista had a strong desire to survive
and did not give up. Although she
struggled she made it through all
levels of high school and now studies

travel and tourism at university.
Sometimes she has struggled to see

herself as lovable. She loves the
Lord and gives Him praise for her

new life every day.

Visiting the USA
Thanks to all who kindly hosted the Magale's and all the rest of us around the country.  We were happy to show our guests America while they were here.

Share the Spirit of Christmas

The Christmas season is quickly approaching and we hope that all of you will help us make this a special time for the children and families we serve. A gift of $35 will provide a Christmas celebration, outfit, small gift and Christmas dinner to take home to share with their families and guardians. Bless your own sponsored child or help those whose sponsors are unable to do more or other Genesis School and community children as funds allow. You may send to our U.S. office by the end of November a Christmas card for Katherine to give along with the gifts.

Online Giving
If you give or would like to give one-time or recurring gifts to us online we have added a link to our secure giving page on securegive to our "Donate Now" page on our website.  If you already have an account set up on coloradogives.org we will continue to use this secure site as well.  However, as the financial advantages for us to use coloradogives have diminished greatly and the increased functionality offered by securegives for our needs we will prioritize securegives for our online giving.  We prefer that you use this service for further one-time giving and consider switching over when your current credit card expires.  We will be able to offer you more direct customer service through securegive.   Also, we can now set up a recurring giving account for you if you are unable to do so yourself.  Please call Cindy at 303-847-9522.
