Early Literacy
Early Literacy Classes
We offer three early literacy classes at the Watertown Public Library: Baby Bounce, Toddler Tales and Preschool Jamboree.

Each class is geared toward it's specific age group, with books, songs and fingerplays that encourage participation and help develop lifelong literacy skills.  Classes are followed by 15 minutes of playtime and a craft that help to bolster social skills and creativity.

Details are available on the Kids Page.

Kids' Book Clubs
Book Worm Book Club
Our newest book club is the Bookworm Book Club for patrons in grades K4-2nd grade.  The Bookworms meet on the 4th Monday of every month, from 3:30-4:30, to talk  about their latest book, play some games and create a fun craft!

American Girl Book Club
The American Girl Book Club meets the first Tuesday of every month, from 3:30-4:30, to discuss the most recent American  Girl book selection. With fun activities and a delicious snack too, this book club is a favorite!
