February 3, 2016
Breeding recommendations for critically endangered wolves: We have three pair of wolves recommended for breeding this year! As you may know, Wolf Haven is part of two wolf Species Survival Plan programs. The Mexican wolf and red wolf are both actively bred and managed in captivity; a wild population is maintained as well. Both pair of red wolves at Wolf Haven are recommended for breeding this spring, as are Mexican wolves M752 and F962 (in-house names of Coal and Nieta). Wolf Haven will close the sanctuary completely (except for animal care staff) from February 15 - March 15 to provide some privacy.
Special includes wolf calendar, adoption and heart sticker

In this month's issue of Smithsonian Magazine, you can see six pages of her iconic pictures. Her Wolf Haven photography series will be released as a book in 2016. She has previously been published in The New Yorker, National Geographic, Audubon and Harper's.
