February 2016
President's Message

Dear Coaches,

This year is off to a wonderful start!

We were honored to host Professor Peter Hawkins, PhD, who presented his latest Team Coaching research to an audience of more than 100.  Thanks to our four co-sponsors for making this a memorable event: Academy of Executive Coaching, Columbia Coaching Learning Association, Team Coaching Zone, and The Five O'Clock Club.  The reception that followed gave us all a chance to meet new colleagues, share our insights and get to know each other a bit better.

To offer these events, we count on your support.  Thank you!! Board Members Susan Ginsberg O'Sullivan, Yana Blackwelder, PCC and Robin Schletter were key to making this event happen,  And thanks to Chapter members Mary Anne Walsh, EdD and Sue Negrey who volunteered at the registration desk.

What's next on the calendar?

On February 3rd, we are offering a webinar hosted by John P. Schuster, PCC, who will introduce us to his work in Depth Coaching.  As John describes his work, we will explore ways to inspire the mind and encourage the heart for the long-term.  Through Neurobiology, mindfulness work, Jungian psychology, and more, John will introduce us to a creative, effective and lasting coaching process that will expand our coaching toolkit.

On February 17th, Krista Martin, President and Founder of Make Your Mark will host a webinar, introducing us to her four easy questions that you can ask yourself to know if you've nailed your target market.  By challenging us to shift our mindset, she'll help us discover how to raise our rates and offer massive value to our clients!  Be sure to register for this one!

Coming up on March 10th, join us for an in-person event: Executive Coaching Through An Organizational Lens. Board Member John Hoover, PhD, ACC will facilitate a panel of five leaders who directly manage or influence coaching programs in large organizations, such as LinkedIn, General Motors, The Mayo Clinic, Columbia University, and Regeneron. The Conference Board's Executive Coaching Conference will be in town that week, and we are fortunate that our panelists are making time to share their organization coaching insights with us.   To volunteer as an event supporter, please contact [email protected].  We look forward to working with you!

Check out what's available on the ICF global website.  Here are a few of my favorites:
