Even though we are in the thick of winter, the days are already getting brighter! Do you need to think about training hours to meet your state licensing requirements? Are you looking for CEU hours for QRIS Continuous Quality Improvement Plans? Would you prefer online or face-to-face training? We have a variety of options to offer you in the coming months. Check our website at
www.cccfscm.org for our most up-to-date list of trainings.
Now let me introduce you to our new Executive Director, Jim Regan. Jim has 30+ years ensuring that children and families in need have access to supportive services. He founded The Communities Collaborative providing support services to highly vulnerable, at-risk children and adolescents throughout Massachusetts.
Earlier, at the Polus Center for Social & Economic Development, Jim directed operations providing services to individuals with multiple disabilities in Massachusetts and Central America. Jim also worked for the state Department of Developmental Services rising to the position of Area Director for Metro Boston. Recently, as Grants Manager and Out-of-School Time Coordinator for the Amherst Regional Public Schools, Jim was responsible for creating model before & after-school programs.
Jim's strengths are as a leader, open communicator, and an innovative and strategic thinker. His strong financial management skills and ability to adapt an organization to the evolving needs of the community will benefit Family Services.
I am pleased to be be working with Jim and look forward to new ideas and improvements in service delivery.
