Candlelight Christmas Service
Candlelight Service 12.5.15
In preparation for the end of the fall semester, students and staff celebrated the "Good News" of Jesus Christ during the traditional candlelight Christmas worship service on Saturday, December 5. The student-led service consisted of the reading of lessons, singing of carols and the lighting of candles during "Silent Night, Holy Night."  A beautiful duet performance of "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" was also presented by Ismael Bartolome on violin and Miso Lee on piano. Christmas Card Artwork Competition
Christmas Card - Winning Entry
We held a school-wide artwork competition to create this year's school Christmas card.
The winning entry was created by senior Ming-Chieh (Jessica) Tsai of Hsinchu, Taiwan. Through her artwork, Jessica expresses the multi-cultural community of our school where "young people from around the world come together in harmony to worship God, our Father." Congratulations to Jessica and all of our students who participated.
Thanksgiving Luncheon in New Student Center
Thanksgiving Luncheon 11.24.15
Our Pan Am "family" joined together on November 24 in our brand new Student Center for food and fellowship at our annual Thanksgiving luncheon. In addition to being grateful for the new building, we also give thanks to our wonderful dining hall staff who prepared and served this delicious meal for everyone to enjoy. All meals will be served in the new facility after students return from Christmas break.

After the luncheon, students on our girls' and boys' basketball teams had an opportunity to try out the new hoops in the new gym with a friendly free-throw competition. Even Dr. Dalglish joined in the fun. Watch the video of his near-perfect free-throw!

Year-End Giving
There's still time in 2015 to make a tax-deductible donation to our school. This year, our annual appeal letter featured the story of Jasiel, a 2011 alumnus of our school, who attended Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas, and earned a degree in Marketing/Communication and IT. Jasiel was active in campus ministry during high school and college, and he is currently enrolled at Austin Theological Presbyterian Seminary. He is confident that he will be able to use all of his technical skills to benefit the Church's ministry.

Won't you please consider a gift this year to Presbyterian Pan American School so we can help students like Jasiel discover their possibilities?
