NEW VP BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TNDC welcomes Ryan Franke as vice president, business development. Ryan assumes the role from Bill Adsit, who will continue to work with TNDC in the role of senior advisor through an extended transition period to support TNDC's business development and strategic growth. Ryan has extensive experience in management, business and community engagement in the natural resource sector and will work with Bill in the year ahead to fully understand the TNDC business model and solidify relationships with the company's industry and business partners. TAHLTAN RED SEAL CHEF TRAINING PROGRAM
The first four graduates of the Tahltan Chef Red Seal Training Program (TCRSTP) are now ready to take their Red Seal exams and embark on professional culinary careers. TCRSTP is a partnership between the Tahltan Nation Development Corporation (TNDC) and Sodexo Canada that provides an intensive Red Seal chef training program for members of the Tahltan Nation and select employees of Spatsizi Remote Services (SRS).

TNDC SIGNS MOU WITH OMEGA MORGAN
TNDC marked its 29th business partnership with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Omega Morgan, a specialized transportation and logistics company. The agreement will see the parties partner together to develop specialized transportation and logistics opportunities for energy, resource and industrial projects in Northwestern British Columbia and grow the Tahltan labour force. MEET TNDC'S CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER Hankin Asp is TNDC's chief operations officer (COO). He's responsible for organizing and managing field operations for TNDC, ranging from road maintenance to earth work development on hydroelectric projects and mine sites. Hankin started with TNDC in October 2011 as a heavy equipment operator. In line with TNDC's commitment to train and promote from within, Hankin embarked on the education and training path to leadership and assumed the COO position in March 2012. Read More

INTRODUCING TNDC'S 2014/15 BOARD
TNDC welcomed four new directors to its board and bid farewell
and
thanks
to four outgoing board members. Riannon Ball, Norman Day (vice chair), Marty Nole and Clayton Thomas join the TNDC board, bringing a mixture of business management, environmental science, trades, financial management, contract management and governing experience. They join existing board members Jamie Gleason, Herbert Henyu and Vernon Marion. Alano Edzerza, Ryan Franke (vice chair, now TNDC VP business development), Feddie Louie and Bill McPhee resigned to focus on retirement and other career obligations.
