A great time at the Hallett Cove BioBlitz!
More than 450 people, including 150 school children took part in an epic nature discovery session at Hallett Cove on 13 & 14 November.
People observed 91 different species and counting.....there were so many discoveries, it's taking along time to identify all the animals, bugs, plants, etc!
Intelligent and noisy, little corellas can often be found at this time of year flocking in trees or on an oval.
While many people enjoy seeing these native cockatoos, large flocks can cause big problems. Their busy beaks can defoliate trees, damage cars, buildings and crops.
We need your help to understand what makes particular sites prone to damage by flocks of these birds.
