November 20 - December 13
The Critics are 'Wilde' about Earnest!
Thinking Cap Theatre is garnering rave reviews with it's outrageous and outrageously clever production of Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest, A Trivial Comedy for Serious People at the Vanguard Sanctuary for the Arts, Ft. Lauderdale's exciting new arts' space.
Director Nicole Stodard has set the play in December 1978 - in disco-era New York City. Her imaginative staging, she explains "Is provocative, prurient, and of course, punny!"
The cast includes Carbonell Award-winning actors Karen Stephens and Clay Cartland, as well as Elizabeth Price, Carey Hart, Noah Levine, Jim Gibbons, Johnnie, Bowls, and Emma Magner.

Through November 28th
Emotional combat comes to life as morals, values, humility and humanity are explored and dissected. The winner of the prestigious 2013 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Musical, this critically acclaimed Off-Broadway show, based on the 1991 cult classic movie, centers on the unlikely, yet poignant romance between a young Marine and a shy, awkward waitress he meets the night before shipping out to Vietnam in 1963.

Theatre for the Entire Family!
December 3 - 20, 2015 Filled with wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, Once Upon a Mattress puts a rollicking spin on The Princess and the Pea - that familiar classic fairy tale of royal courtship and comeuppance provides for some side-splitting shenanigans. Did you know, for instance, that Princess Winnifred actually swam the moat to reach Prince Dauntless the Drab? Or that it wasn't the pea at all that caused the princess a sleepless night? Sing Along With Us!
December 4 - 13
Audiences at the Willow Theatre in Boca Raton's Sugar Sand Park are invited to spend an evening of music and nostalgia as The 4 Guyz harmonize, reminisce, and 'drift back to 'The Good 'Ole Dayz' of drive-ins, sock hops, greasers and hot rods' in 4 Ever '50s.
A treat for
history buffs
and music lovers alike, the show asks how many of the
jingle
s of that special era rattled off during the evening will audiences remember and sing along to? Can they
name all the top television shows from the 1950's and early 1
960's?
And of course, can they sing along to such
timeless classics as "Teenager in Love," "Blue Moon," "At the Hop," "Why Do Fools Fall in Love?" and many, many more. Click HERE to read more about 4 Ever '50s.
